Sandbrook Primary School

Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to Sandbrook!  We are a smaller-than average primary with a strong family-feel.  We are a small school with a big heart!

We are proud to provide exceptional pastoral support for all pupils, ensuring their wellbeing and personal development are prioritised. Our comprehensive support system guarantees that the needs of all pupils are met, allowing each child to feel valued and supported throughout their educational journey.

At Sandbrook,  we cultivate a culture of respect, resilience and kindness, where everyone strives to be the best version of themselves. Central to this are our values, which underpin everything we do.

  • Respect – how we show that we value people, property and the planet
  • Be Kind - looking after one another
  • Be Helpful - offering to help or helping sort a situation out
  • Work Hard - striving to be our very best in all that we do
  • Never Give Up - develop resilience to stick at things even when they are tricky

We are committed to providing a high-quality, caring and stimulating environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated staff team works tirelessly to create a safe and inclusive school community that values each child’s unique strengths and talents.

We believe that learning should be serious fun.  Our curriculum is of the highest quality, enhanced through a variety of enrichment opportunities and real-life contexts to ensure that learning is both meaningful and engaging.  In addition, our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire our pupils, preparing them for future success in an ever-changing world.

Parents and carers are vital partners in our educational journey and we are committed to working closely with you to support your child’s growth and development. We encourage open communication and collaboration, ensuring that together, we can achieve the best outcomes for every single pupil.

I hope you have a few moments to spend exploring the site and find useful and interesting information about our wonderful school.
